Corporate Giving Programs

The Endowment has greatly benefited from corporate giving programs. Johnson & Johnson, Kaiser, and AbbVie have years of giving to the Endowment through their employee corporate matching programs. These companies are one of the reasons we have a PLN Variant Gene Test.
Johnson & Johnson is a company that has an incredible matching program and we are very appreciative to Pam Mandeville for including the Endowment.

Breeders who place puppies in homes with owners who might have a corporate giving programs can make a great impact in supporting Wheaten health -especially our goal of finding a marker for Protein-Losing Enteropathy.
Major corporations with robust employee matching gift policies include Microsoft, Apple, Disney, Bank of America and General Electric who often have matching donations at a 1:1 ratio or higher to eligible 501(c)(3) organizations. Programs typically match donations between $25 and $15,000+ per employee annually, doubling the impact on nonprofits.

  • Technology: Apple (1:1 up to $10,000), Google ($10k personal + $10k disaster), Microsoft (up to $15,000), Adobe, Cisco.
  • Financial Services: Bank of America (1:1 up to $5,000), American Express (1:1 up to $8,000; 2:1 on first $1,000), BlackRock.
  • Retail/Consumer: The Walt Disney Company (1:1 up to $25,000), Home Depot (1:1 up to $3,000), Coca-Cola (up to 2:1 ratio).
  • Healthcare/Pharma: Johnson & Johnson (up to 2:1 for some), Merck & Co. (up to $30,000), Pfizer (up to $5,000).
  • Energy/Industrial: BP, Chevron (up to $10,000), GE Aerospace.
